This book is the secound book in the vampire academy series. This book is really amazing. I Love it and i think it's better than the first.

Rose Hathaway's got serious guy trouble. Her gorgeous tutor Dimitri has his eye on someone else, her friend Mason has a huge crush on her, and she keeps getting stuck in her best friend Lissa's head while she's making out with her boyfriend, Christian. (So not cool).

Then a massive Strigoi attack puts St. Vladimir's on high alert, and the Academy crawls with Guardians--including the legendary Janine Hathaway...Rose's formidable, long-absent mother. This is a fun book to read. I loved this book so much. Lissa Dragomir is a Moroi princess: a mortal vampire with an unbreakable bond to the earth's magic. She must be protected at all times from Strigoi; the fiercest and most dangerous vampires--the ones who never die.

Loved reading this book it had a sort of exciting, horrifying but also facinating all at the same time. In this book Zoey Redbird has no friends talking to her no boyfriends. She feels alone and Alphodiate has a vision of Zoey dying alone and she tells Zoey's ex friends about the vision and tells them it would be there fault if she does get killed. Zoey gets attacked by a Raven mocker and the night doesn't seem safe for anyone. Nerfect is up to her old tricks she's trying to set Zoey up saying that Zoey at the moment she stepped through the house of night doors she' s been lying, killing the fledgings and has a secret which she won't tell anyone. Alphodiate and Zoey have volunteered to help out at the cats shelter Darius is there to protect Zoey and Alphodiate. They find out that the shelter is run by nun's. At the shelter Alphodiate adopts a cat and she chooses Alphodiate as a mistress. When Zoey and the Dark Daughters and Brothers do a ritual they wanted to tell everyone about Stevie Rae and the undead kids thats when the earth is at risk as Nerfect is hyding that she is the queen of the evil ahead she try's to get Zoey and the Dark Daughters and brothers to stop the ritual and Zoey keeps the ritual open so they are protected by all 5 elements; Fire, Earth, Water, Air and Spirit.
